We're excited to announce the biggest update in Castle Stand history: Survivor Mode! This is not just another game mode — it's an entirely new way to play Castle Stand.
What is Survivor Mode?
Unlike Story Mode where you build towers and manage defenses from above, Survivor Mode puts you in direct control of a hero on the battlefield. You move, attack, dodge, and fight your way through increasingly dangerous waves of enemies.
Choose Your Hero
Pick from 10 unique heroes, each with different weapons, base stats, and powerful active abilities. Whether you prefer the tanky Knight with his shield bash, the agile Ashara with her fire attacks, or the ranged Thyra with precise arrows — there's a hero for every playstyle.
Elemental vs Hero Path
At the start of each run, you'll face a crucial choice: the Elemental Path or the Hero Path. Elemental gives you orbiting weapons — fire, ice, lightning, arrows, and cannons that automatically attack nearby enemies. The Hero Path empowers your character directly with damage, survival, speed, and special upgrades.
Level Up System
As you defeat enemies, you earn XP and level up. Each level presents a choice of powerful upgrades. The longer you survive, the stronger the hordes become — but so do you. It's a classic roguelike loop: risk vs reward.
Global Leaderboards
Survivor Mode features its own Google Play Games leaderboard. Compete globally for the highest score across all 4 kingdoms. How long can you survive?
How to Play
Survivor Mode is available now for free in Castle Stand. Update your game from Google Play, tap "Battle" on the main menu, and switch to the Survivor tab. No purchase required — jump in and start surviving!
